National Harbor is Your Destination for a Happy Halloween

14289_RYKO_BT_Blog_2015Oct_22Halloween is just over a week away, but National Harbor has some treats for you this Saturday, October 22, at Harbor HalloweenHere’s a look at all of the FREE events at Harbor Halloween:
  • 11am-2:30pm: Get the day started at the Black Dog’s Annual Howl-Loween Party. The Black Dog invites you to make new friends and tour National Harbor with your furry companion.
  • 12pm-2pm: Trick-or-treating is always easier for you and more exciting for your child when you know that it’s done in a safe and fun environment. Take to the streets of National Harbor and help your child collect some sweet treats and give them an experience they’ll never forget.
  • 12:30pm: Sit back, relax and enjoy the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus.
  • 2pm: For the first time, National Harbor will host its Chef Pumpkin-Carving Contest. See what these culinary masters can create in this event that is sure to become an annual tradition.
While you’re there, get your kids their very own children’s ID kits, provided by Prince George’s County Police Department, and get an exclusive look at an official police cruiser.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to the National Harbor without a ride on the Capital Wheel! Children in costume ride FREE with adult purchase.

Halloween is coming up soon, but it’s that much closer when you live just 30 minutes away from National Harbor.
