Fall is a great time to get out and explore everything the D.C. metro area has to offer. The National Mall in Washington, D.C., is beautiful this time of year, and the weather is perfect for a stroll around downtown Annapolis.

When you live at BeechTree, the opportunities for fall fun are all around you, in your community and just a short drive away. If you’re ready to get out and enjoy everything that this season has to offer, here are three of our favorite events you should consider checking out.

Montpelier Fall Festival

There is so much to do every weekend this month at Montpelier Farms in Upper Marlboro!

Get lost in the seven-acre corn maze, pick that perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, take a hayride, shop at the farm market, see all the animals — the Montpelier Fall Festival is sure to be fun for everyone! Admission is affordable for the whole family, and if you live at BeechTree, it’s all just five minutes away.

Autumn Festival at Mount Airy Mansion

If arts and crafts are your calling, you won’t want to miss the return of this annual event at Rosaryville State Park.

Stop by the beautiful Mount Airy Mansion from 10am to 5pm on October 15-16 and enjoy work from local crafters and artisans, as well as delicious food, tasty treats, hayrides and live entertainment.

Can’t make it to the Autumn Festival? Stop by Rosaryville State Park another time to catch the fall foliage and see everything this great park has to offer — it’s just a 20-minute drive from BeechTree!

Harbor Halloween

There’s something for everyone at the annual Harbor Halloween event on October 23 at National Harbor!

Bring the kids for a screening of Hocus Pocus on the big screen by the Potomac at 12:30pm or take them trick-or-treating at participating National Harbor stores and restaurants from 12-2pm. If you have a dog, you’ll want to bring them to the annual “Howl-oween Party” and “Paw-rade” at The Black Dog beginning at 2:15pm. And you’ll definitely want to see what a few culinary masters can create at the Chef Pumpkin-Carving Contest at 2:30pm.

Harbor Halloween is just one of the fun things you can do at National Harbor this month. Check out the full slate of great events and activities coming up, just a short drive from BeechTree.
