Get to Know Lake Presidential’s New Head Chef


Golf isn’t the only thing visitors of Lake Presidential Golf Club at BeechTree have come to enjoy over the years.

From banquets to post-game bites, the culinary experiences you can find at our home golf club are wide ranging. And as Lake Presidential continues towards its “Remastered” series of events, we’re excited to introduce its new chef, Damion Jackson.

A native to the D.C. area and a graduate of nearby Howard University, Jackson brings years of professional culinary experience to the Lake Presidential team and the golf club’s on-site restaurant, The Grille.

His impressive resume includes time as a pastry chef under the guidance of Chef David Burke, experience with Executive Chef Bill McClellan at Morton’s of Chicago, as well as Chef R.L. Renshaw at The Savoy in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Jackson served as the Executive Sous Chef at Palmetto Club of Columbia, South Carolina.

Jackson will play a key role in the reimagined selection of dishes that are coming to The Grille at Lake Presidential.
