Cure the Winter Blues with These 5 Helpful Hints

The Holiday season quickly came and left, and if you’re not a cold weather lover, never fear,  soon we will have spring to look forward to. Until then, there are many things that you can do to avoid the winter blues:

  1. Get plenty of exercise. Staying active will help you keep the winter blues at bay. The fitness center at the BeechTree Clubhouse gives you plenty of great options for an indoor workout during the winter months.

  2. Go for a walk. Sure it’s cold, but bundling up and going for a walk on the 3 miles of walking trails is a great way to get out of the house, get some fresh air and clear your head. Want some company? Join the BeechTree Walking Group. Find out more about this at the Clubhouse.

  3. Enjoy some company. Bring your book or laptop to the clubhouse and hang out in the bar, or curl up by the fire. Don’t stay isolated; get out and meet some new people, right in your community.

  4. Host a party. Just because the holidays are over, party season doesn’t have to be over, too! Host a movie or book swap party for your friends and neighbors, and get some new entertainment.

Get ready for spring. Start planning your spring gardening. Research plants that will brighten up your space, and figure out when you can get started growing something beautiful.
